Invited to build out the interior of this newly built Southampton residence, the goal was to maintain the warmth and welcoming feeling of the traditional exterior design by combining it with contemporary elements. In collaboration with the design firm S4Architecture, the choice of wide planks of natural rift cut white oak that are carried throughout the house together with accents of white oak built-ins and newly interpreted shaker style doors allowed for the perfect synergy of modern and authentic Hampton style. Surrounded by a beautiful landscape overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this summer house has become the perfect get-away for the modern family.
